NHS students plant trees

National Honor Society students from Wadena-Deer Creek High School recently planted five maple trees to replace trees lost in the June 17, 2010 tornadoes. Three of the trees were planted at a Wadena residence and another two were planted along the WDC Elementary playground. Pete's Nursery of Wadena donated the wood chips and tree tubing.
