Mac Beyer scored the winning goal off a feed from Tyler Hansen at the 16:38 mark in the third period Tuesday as Morris/Benson trimmed Wadena-Deer Creek 4-3.

The Storm ended two periods of shutout goaltending by Tyler Muehler with four goals in the final period.

Taylor Bienusa the first of his two goals in the opening period to give the Wolverines a 1-0 lead that held up until Tanner Picht scored 36 seconds into the third period with assists from Beyer and Hansen.

Josh Taylor gave the Storm a 2-1 lead just five seconds last with an unassisted goal.

Logan Meyer tied the game 2-2 when he jammed in a goal at the 9:36 mark off feeds by Bienusa and David Najjar.

Kelly Engquist tied the game at 3-all at 14:27 with assists from Brady Valnes and Ethan Ratcliff-Crain.

Tyler Muehler stopped 26 shots for the Wolverines who dropped to 4-20 on the season.

The Eagles iced three first period goals Saturday in skating to a 5-1 victory over the Wolverines at the Municipal Athletic Complex (MAC) in St. Cloud.

Brody Falconer scored a pair of goals for the Eagles while Josh Warrick, Brandon Karnik and John Feichtinger added solo goals. The Eagles converted twice on the power play.

Brandyn Swanson countered with a second period power play goal for the Wolverines. Taylor Bienusa picked up the assist.

Tyler Muehler stopped 43 of 48 shots in goal. The Wolverines put just 15 shots on goal.

Taylor Bienusa took a fee from Logan Meyer at the 14:14 mark of the second period for WDC's lone goal.

Joey Bergquist stopped 19 shots in the victory while Tyler Muehler kicked out 43 in the loss.
