Wadena-Deer Creek Junior Emily Miron scored 26 points, surpassing the 1,000-point mark for her career, as the Wolverines defeated the Park Rapids Area Panthers 57-19 in a Mid-State Conference game Thursday. She hit a 3-pointer to surpass the 1,000 mark.

Miron joins Courtney Volkmann, Rhonda Birch, Kerby Johnson, Marissa Browne and Lynn Piepkorn on WDC's 1,000-career points list.
