Mindy Sue Kohl, 20, of Henning, died Sunday July 8, 2007 in a traffic accident in Henning.
She was born in Parkers Prairie on Dec. 19, 1986, the daughter of Fred and Linda (Hanson) Kohl. She grew up in Henning and attended Henning High School. She studied cosmetology at the Minnesota State Community and Technical College--Wadena. She was working as a sales clerk at the Bigfoot convenience store in Vining and at Chagen's Pub in Henning.
Funeral services were Thursday, July 12, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Henning with the Rev. Rud Wasson officiating. Casketbearers were Jamie McCleary, Dondi Kimber, Harold Walberg, Graham Neuman, Mike Johnson and Ben Uhren.
Survivors include her daughter, Emily Mae Kohl; her parents, Fred and Linda Kohl, of Henning; sister, Jessica Kohl; brother, Jason Kohl; and her maternal grandparents, Herman and Bernice Hanson, of Henning. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents.
