Miller, Amiot turn in fastest Sunnybrook times

Kenny Miller defended his title in the Sunnybrook Stomp Friday by running the 5K race in a time of 16:04.

Miller, who won the race last year with a 16:06 time, ran in the 31-40 men's division.

Rachel Amiot, who competed in the women's 21-30 division, ran the best overall time by a female by finishing the race in 21:05.

More than 100 runners and walkers braved rain showers to compete in the annual event.

Tri-County Health Care designed out a new route for the participants which included the the park as well as the industrial, healthcare and residential areas of northeast Wadena.
