Milk truck rolls, spills
On Tuesday, July 19, the Minnesota State Patrol and Otter Tail County Sheriff's Department responded to an injury crash at the intersection of Otter Tail County Roads 68 and 75 near Sebeka.
The vehicle was a milk truck going westbound on County Road 68 when it went off the "T" intersection and rolled into a swamp. The truck is owned by Bud's Milk Hauling Inc. of Dent, and was transporting approximately 19,000 pounds of milk and did leak some of its contents after the crash. The driver of the milk truck, Kyle Femling, 32, of Dent, was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported by ambulance to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena. Femling's injuries are believed to be non-serious.
The Minnesota State Patrol completed a Commercial Vehicle Inspection and the Femling was cited for a stop sign violation. Sebeka Fire and Rescue also assisted on the crash.
