Meyer selected to Classic football squad, three Wolverines earn honorable mention

Wadena-Deer Creek's Logan Meyer earned Heart O' Lakes Conference Classic first team honors for the 2010 football season.

Meyer split his time between running back and linebacker.

Wideout Jordan Rentz, defensive end Cory Tumberg and linebacker Jared Wegscheid all received honorable mention.

Breckenridge's Stephen Erlandson was selected as the Classic Conference's Most Valuable Player.

Other MVP honors went to West Central Area's Colton Blasyck (Quarterback), DGF's Bennett Mercil (Running Back), Staples-Motley's Tanner Roberts (Receiver), Pelican Rapids' Dan Wood (Defensive Lineman), Breckenridge's David Bergquist (Offensive Lineman), DGF's Jedre Cyr (Linebacker) and DGF's Shawn Johnson (Defensive Back).

Breckenridge's Chad Fredericksen was named Coach of the Year.
