Meyer ends prep career with third place finish at state

Logan Meyer went into his second straight Class A state track and field meet at Hamline University June 8 with a very good idea about his top competition.

He was right on the mark.The Wadena-Deer Creek standout tossed the shot 52-0.25 to gain third place honors in the shot put behind Ada-Borup's Bryan Blasey and Otter Tail Central's Steffan Stroh.
