Menahga man charged with burglary, assault
A 27-year-old Menahga man was charged in Wadena County District Court with first degree burglary and fifth degree assault after allegedly breaking into a Menahga residence Feb. 15 and punching another man in the face.
According to court records, Joshua Howard Bungert broke into a private residence in Menahga and accused another man of trashing his house and stealing furniture. He then threw a punch, threatened the alleged victim and left the residence, court documents said.
Bungert's first court appearance is set for April 23.
