Marjorie Mae Rebischke was born on April 4, 1925 in Staples, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Joseph and Rose Mary (nee: Hirman) Kaveney. In 1947 she was united in marriage to Alfred Morelli and together they raised two children, Roxie and Daniel. They made their home in Wadena, Minnesota where she owned and operated a beauty shop until 1960 when they moved to Amery, Wisconsin. She remained in Amery until 1976. She was living in the twin cities and was married to Jerome Rebischke in 1977. They moved to Eagle River, Alaska where they made their home until 2006. Marjorie spent her remaining years in Rosemount, Minnesota so she could be closer to family and friends. She enjoyed a good game of cards and also spent numerous hours sewing. She was also a very active member of the Rosemount Senior Center. Marjorie was a resident to Ebinezer Ridges Care Center in Burnsville for a few days where she died peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the age of 88 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jerome Rebischke; brother Joe Kaveney and sister Agnes Mickelson. Left to mourn are her children: Roxie (Richard) Johnson and Daniel Morelli; grandchildren: Tonya (Chris) Rohling, Travis (Dani) Johnson, Trent (Kristine) Johnson and Tara (Thomas) Petter. She also leaves eleven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 9. 2014 at 11:30 a.m. from Church of St. Joseph in Rosemount, Minnesota. There will be a visitation at the church for the hour prior to the service.
