Funeral services for Marilyn Beaman were held Jan. 7, 2013, at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Wadena, with Pastor Marli Danielson and Cindy Lemke presiding.
Marilyn, 82, of Wadena, died peacefully in her home on Jan. 3, 2013, with her children at her side.
Marilyn Joan Beaman was born Oct. 29, 1930, to Bernard and Emma Anderson of Deer Creek. She attended Deer Creek High School and Moorhead State University.
Marilyn was a retired financial assistance specialist. She loved reading books, doing crossword puzzles, playing cards and hot games of Scrabble and Yahtzee. She especially enjoyed outings with her sister, Rhoda.
She was active in her church and enjoyed volunteering. Her most cherished moments were spent with her family, her pride and joy.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Randy (Jolaine) Johnson of Pequot Lakes, Debra (Mervin) Johnson of Naples, Fla., Mark (Jamie) Johnson of Pampa, Texas, Pam (Kenny) Boom of Wheaton, Minn., Tracey (Jim) Stoneman of Wadena, and Sheila (Chad) Palmer of Littleton, Colo.; grandchildren, Heather, Hayley, Jill, Heidi, Brad, Ryan, Whitney, Taylor, Jared, Chase and Caleb; great-grandchildren, Sheridan, Mackenzie, Kaylan, Kileen, Jack, Brady, Gracie, Isaac, Isla, Brody; and siblings, Rhoda Stinar, Ted Anderson and Bruce Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernie and Emma Anderson, and brother, Glen Anderson.
Pallbearers were Marilyn's grandchildren, Jill Ewy, Brad Johnson, Heather Ellis, Ryan Johnson, Jared Stoneman and Taylor Boom.
Burial was in the Wadena Cemetery.
Arrangements were with the Schuller Family Funeral Homes' Johnson-Schuller Chapel in Wadena.
