Margaret (Margie) Jenson

The Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret “Margie” Jenson, of New Hope, and formerly of Wadena, MN, will be celebrated on Friday, July 26, 2013, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Wadena, with Father Aaron Kuhn as celebrant. Friends may call on Thursday, July 25, at the Johnson-Schuller Chapel in Wadena from 4:00-8:00p.m. with a Rosary at 5:00 and Parish Prayers at 6:00. Visitation will resume on Friday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Margie passed away at the age of 71, on Sunday, July 21, 2013, at St. Therese’s Care Center in New Hope.

Margaret “Margie” Theresa Klause was born on September 20, 1941 to Jack and Pauline (Bischoff) Klause in Rugby, ND. Margie Klause and Kermit Jenson were united in marriage on June 22, 1960 at St. Hubert’s Catholic Church in Bluegrass.

Margie enjoyed reading, movies, puzzles, playing cards, baking and preparing memorable family meals. She especially enjoyed visiting with family & friends and was always ready to share her kind smile and laughter. She was a member of Christian Mothers. Margie fought a three year battle with cancer with unwavering hope and courage. She was a devoted wife of 51 years and a loving mother & grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband Kermit June 19, 2011; her parents Jack and Pauline; and sister Irene Migler.

She is survived by her children Bob (Mike Aronson) of Minneapolis; daughters Bonnie (Curt) Rentz of Wadena, and Lori (Lila Moe) Jenson of Brooklyn Park; grandchildren Kari (Matt) Schmidt and Kyle Rentz; brother Leon (Mary) Klause of Apple Valley; and sister Betty (Ben) Axtman of Rugby, ND.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ray & Judy Mitchell, Lloyd & Joanne Schwartz, and Mike & Lea Snyder. Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Rentz, Matt Schmidt, Richard Migler, Kory Grossman, Leon Klause, and Dale Axtman.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Wadena.
