Lilliana Kathryn Filipi, 15 months, of Bemidji, died Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009, at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo.
She was born May 15, 2008, in Bemidji, the daughter of Benjamin and Tracy (Wendt) Filipi. She loved to read, flipping through her books talking like she was reading to Mom and Dad. She liked to bop and dance to music, she was just learning to sing along. She loved to take wagon rides, and ride the swings at the park. She was always talking, just like her dad. She loved her dog Jack.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 25, at the St. Philip's Catholic Church in Bemidji, with the Rev. Vincent Miller officiating. Pallbearers were Mark Newman, Terry Wendt, Michael Cook and Dustin Lof. Interment will be at the Lake Emma Cemetery outside Emmaville, Minn., under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home (ceasefuneralhome.com) of Bemidji.
