A year and a half after the EF4 tornado rolled through Wadena, the trail side of Tapley Park is being cleaned up.

Adam Leverson, a WDC sophomore, chose to lead the project along Thursday and Friday, Dec. 29-30, working toward his Eagle Scout rank.

His dad and several other volunteers pitched in.

"Ron Bucholz mentioned it to me and so I decided it would be a good project," Leverson said.
