Lakewood to host free seminar on arthritis, joint pain
Lakewood Health System will host an educational event on arthritis, joint pain, and joint replacement. The event will be held Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 5:30 p.m. in Lakewood's Main Campus Classrooms.
Titled, "Arthritis: Restoring Your Mobility, Restoring Your Life," the free seminar will be presented by Dr. Christopher Metz, Orthopedic Surgeon with Northern Orthopedic, Ltd. and Lakewood Health System. Following the presentation, Metz, members of the Lakewood Joint Connection team and previous Joint Connection patients will be available to answer audience questions.
Joint Connection is a comprehensive orthopedic wellness program at Lakewood Health System. Led by Jennifer Strickland (RN, Joint Connection Coordinator) and surgeons from Northern Orthopedics, Joint Connection provides education, treatment and surgical support for anyone suffering from joint disease, arthritis, or the negative effects of normal wear and tear.
