Kevin Eugene Weiher, 37, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 19, 2009, at Tri-County Hospital in Wadena.
Kevin was born to Darrel and Josephine "Jo" (Lehmkuhl) on Aug. 5, 1972 in Wadena. Kevin attended Wadena-Deer Creek School and graduated with the class of 1991. He was currently a student at M State Community Technical College in Wadena in the Heating and Air Conditioning Department. His interests revolved around all sports, and especially with any Minnesota teams.
Funeral services were set for 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22, in the St. John Lutheran Church in Wadena with Vicar Stephen Meltzer officiating. Honorary pallbearers were all of Kevin's nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Keith Weiher, Matthew Denny, Brandon Denny, Michael Weiher, Jeff Umland, and Gary Ross. Interment was in the Wadena Cemetery. Arrangements were with the Johnson Memorial Home in Wadena (www.johnsonmemorialhome.com).
Survivors include his parents, Darrel and Jo of Wadena; a daughter, Gabrielle of Wadena; siblings, Dwayne (Joyce Heltemes) of Bemidji, Mary (Jerry) Hannah of Bemidji, Michael (Carol Heltemes) of Carmel, Ind., Deb (Terry) Denny of Sebeka, Randy (Berni Hallas) of Sauk Rapids, Jeff (Tammy (Dykhoff) of Farmington, and Karen (Dirk) Thompson of Baxter; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Frieda Lehmkuhl, and Henry and Grace Weiher.
