Wadena-Deer Creek senior Avery Jackson has signed her letter of intent to play college basketball for the University of Minnesota-Crookston Golden Eagles during the 2012-13 season.

WDC Girls' Basketball Coach Keith Ferris said he is excited to see one of his players move on to the next level.

"Avery's work ethic will help her become as successful college player," said Ferris, who has coached Jackson the last four years.
