Delores "Irish" Jean Tabery, 74, passed away unexpectedly on May 9, 2010, at Tri-County Hospital in Wadena.
Irish was born Feb. 25, 1936, to Walter and Iva (Beihoffer) McGuire in Glencoe, Minn. Delores McGuire was united in marriage with Richard Rohr in Glencoe in 1956 until his death. She was later married to Lyle Gleason in Duelm until he passed away. In 1967, she was married to Stanley J. Tabery in Wadena. Stan passed away in 2004.
Irish helped with the dairy farming and was a dedicated homemaker for her family. She enjoyed flower gardening, dogs and animals, being outdoors enjoying nature, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She especially enjoyed her new status as "Great-grandma T."
The Mass of Christian Burial was set to be celebrated at 11 a.m. on May 13, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Wadena with the Rev. Donald Wagner as celebrant. Honorary pallbearers are all of Irish's great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Richard Rohr, Nicole Rohr, Matt Lloyd, Sarah Lloyd, Jesse Gleason, Megan Gleason, Scott Caye, Brock Roller, Jeff Martinson and Chris Storeim. Interment is in Calvary Cemetery in Wadena. Arrangements are with the Johnson Memorial Home in Wadena (www.johnsonmemorialhome.com).
Survivors include her children, Scott (Jo) Rohr of Alexandria, Mike Gleason, of Minneapolis, and Linda (Dick) Lloyd of Sauk Rapids; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother Dennis (Gloria) McGuire of Glencoe.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Rohr, Lyle Gleason and Stan Tabery; and her parents, Walter and Iva.
