On Dec. 21, a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by James Miller of rural Deer Creek rear-ended an Amish buggy containing a man, woman and 3-month-old child, all of whom were hurt in the accident, the Todd County Sheriff's Office reported.

The accident happened around 9 p.m. on Dec. 21 on Todd County Road 24, just east of the Otter Tail County line in Bertha Township, the TCSO said. The three Amish people were taken by ambulance to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena.

Miller was not hurt. The buggy was a total loss. The Jeep sustained moderate damage, the TCSO said.
