Hubbard canine nabs suspect, pound of flesh

Oakley got his pound of flesh and his man.

A Wadena County suspect is facing numerous charges and may prefer standing through them for the time being.

James Allen Zaske, 44, allegedly led Sebeka police and other officers on a high speed chase into Hubbard County early Saturday morning that ended with a crash near Piney Park mobile home park south of Park Rapids.

Authorities said Zaske fled into the trailer park. Hubbard County's K-9 was called in and quickly located Zaske hiding under a porch.

The dog bit into Zaske's posterior, said Sebeka police chief Eric Swenson persuading the suspect to give up.
