Hospice Light-A-Light ceremony and Getting Through The Holidays program set
Tri-County Health Care's 17th annual Getting Through The Holidays program will be held prior to the TCHC Hospice Light-A-Light tree-lighting ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 16.
A soup and sandwich supper starts at 5:45 p.m. in the Browne Family Conference Center on the second level of the hospital with the program starting at 6:15 p.m.
This is a free program sponsored by TCHC Hospice that offers support for anyone who has experienced a loss of a loved one or friend in their life. This year's speaker is Hospice Chaplin Pastor Allen Refsland from the Assembly of God Church, Wadena.
Everyone is welcome to share in this special time, which will end with the lighting of the Hospice tree. Pre-registration is encouraged by calling the TCHC Hospice office at (218) 631-7480.
Light-a-Light for Hospice
Tri-County Health Care Hospice is giving people an opportunity to remember special individuals and loved ones during the holiday season by purchasing a light on the Jim Lawson Memorial Tree.
Each light on the tree may be lit for $5 to honor or thank someone, or to remember a person who has died. Their name will be recorded in the Honor and Remembrance Book.
All proceeds will benefit the TCHC Hospice program, which provides care for individuals with a terminal illness. Hospice relies on continued support and assistance through donations, fundraising and volunteer hours.
The public is invited to the Light-A-Light tree-lighting ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Browne Family Conference Center.
