On Nov. 5, a ground breaking ceremony was held for the new Wadena County Ag Society Horse Barn at the Wadena County Fairgrounds.

On hand for this celebration were several members of the Wadena County Ag Society, as well as the local representative for the builder, RAM Buildings, Inc. of Winsted, Minn.

This 80x200x16 foot post frame building replaces the three horse barns that were destroyed beyond repair when the June 2010 tornado devastated much of the city of Wadena.

When the structure is completed it will serve as a Horse Barn during the summer months and will be used as a bus garage the remainder of the year.
