Henning Medical Clinic receives Press Ganey recognition
Tri-County Health Care (TCHC) is pleased to announce that the Henning Medical Clinic has been identified by Press Ganey as deserving of a "Journey to High Performance" recognition. This acknowledgement certifies that the patient satisfaction scores relating to the staff and services at the Henning Medical Clinic showed dramatic improvement.
The patient satisfaction scores were gathered from anonymous surveys that patients completed and returned. "Patients are randomly selected to receive the Press Ganey surveys," said Tammy Suchy, Tri-County Health Care quality manager. "We encourage patients to complete the surveys so we can understand their perception of care and identify areas in which we can improve our services."
The scores identified areas of improvement, including staff protecting the safety of patients, the sensitivity to patients needs and the concern for patient privacy. "Henning always gives excellent care and we continually strive for improvement," said Judy White, Tri-County Health Care Clinic administrator. "Their overall patient experience scores improved from 87.9 percent to 93 percent satisfaction. This recognition reflects their continual commitment to excellence." Many different things have been identified as potential areas that could have contributed to the improvement in the scores, including reminder calls to patients, additional time scheduled to ensure information could be entered into the EPIC computer system prior to the provider seeing the patient, provider choices and access to care," said Pat Malvin, Rural Health Clinic manager.
Press Ganey is a nationally respected organization recognized as a leader in performance improvement for 25 years. "Press Ganey partners with more than 10,000 health care organizations like ours to create and sustain high-performing organizations," Suchy said. "They help us improve the overall health care experience for our patients, and in turn will help improve the health of the communities we serve."
