Hal (Bo) (Holly) Personius, 62, of Tucson, Ariz., passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 8, in Puerto Penasco, Mexico.
Hal was born to H. I.(Holly) and Viola Personius in Wadena on Sept. 7, 1947. He attended and graduated from Wadena High School and Dakota Business College in Fargo. He worked as a retail manager until his retirement. Hal enjoyed playing basketball, watching horse racing and NBA games, restoring old VW cars, spending time with family, entertaining his grandson, and returning to Minnesota to visit family and old friends.
No service was held at Hal's request. His remains were cremated.
Survivors include his loving wife, Sue Ellen; son, Jonathan (Jenny) Personius of Albuquerque, N.M.; grandson, Andy; sisters, Susan (Fred) Jozwicki of Muskego, Wis., and Kathy (Dewain) Sparrgrove of Des Moines, Iowa; brother-in-law Timm Grabe of Sacramento, CA, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special aunt.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jamison; sister, Joan Personius Grabe'; and niece, Jennifer Sparrgrove.
