Glendalough State Park to host archery workshop May 17
Learn how to shoot a bow at Glendalough State Park on Saturday, May 17 during an Archery in the Parks program.
The Archery in the Parks program is part of an ongoing effort by the Mineesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to get more people outdoors. The DNR offers a series of skill building workshops that introduce camping, fishing, climbing, paddling and archery to the next generation.
The program will take place at the Molly Stark Lake picnic shelter between 12:30 and 3 p.m. No reservation is required. All equipment is provided free, but a vehicle permit is required to enter all Minnesota state parks. Children must be at least eight years old to participate and anyone under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
