First baby born at TCHC Jan. 3
The first baby of 2014 born at Tri-County Health Care in Wadena is a boy named Zane. Baby boy Zane Robert Smith was born on Friday, Jan. 3 at 1:54 a.m. to Rochelle Tschudi and Casey Smith of Menahga. He weighed 8 lbs. 9 oz and was 19 and a half inches long. Baby Zane was delivered by Heidi Strand, M.D. a Tri-County Health Care Family Medicine Physician.
Baby Zane will be welcomed home by siblings Tatiyana, Dominic, Makenzie, Aliyah and Toryn.
In addition to the Best Start Program, Baby Zane and his family received Chamber Bucks donated by Wadena Area Volunteers (WAVe), and a "Go Home Prepared" basket of essentials, donated by Tri-County Health Care for being the first baby of the New Year.
