Explosion totals home, injures one in Vergas
Vergas - A man suffered minor injuries in a home explosion in Vergas on Monday that left his house a total loss.

The homeowner, Peter Hansen, 67, was inside at the time of the explosion, according to a release from the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office. He was transported to Perham Health with non-life threatening injuries.
The sheriff's office received the call of a house explosion at around 5 p.m. The home is located at 42568 County Highway 41.
The state fire marshal's office is investigating the incident.
Vergas Fire and Rescue, Dent and Pelican Rapids fire departments also responded to the scene.
