"Moving Forward Together" is the theme, where WDC staff and families will say goodbye to St. Ann's School, which served as home for WDC's preschool/ECFE program and Head Start, after the devastating June 17 2010 tornado.

"After the last two years of being at St. Ann's School, we want to give families a chance to say goodbye and to move ahead," said Leanne Ries, WDC ECFE coordinator.

A free dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. in St. Ann's parking lot, followed by the "Moving Forward Together" ceremony and the "Big Finale" at 6 p.m., which will be a freewill concert by Jack Pearson, a musician and storyteller from Minneapolis. His warmth, creativity, sense of humor and incredible musical gifts captivate not only children, but adults as well.

Come and join us for free dinner and an fun and entertaining concert as we say thank you and goodbye to St. Ann's school.

The evening is sponsored by Wadena-Deer Creek ECFE, Sebeka ECFE, Otter Tail-Wadena Community Action Council Head Start and the Freshwater Education District.
