Easy Sticky Buns

Email

When I owned a bread machine, I would make sticky buns every year for our family Christmas breakfast. I don't have a bread machine anymore, so I had to find a different recipe for sticky buns since they are a family favorite. I found this recipe a few years ago and it is almost as good as the original. You can vary the recipe by using other pudding flavors, such as butterscotch or add a cup of raisins if you like.

Easy Sticky Buns

Makes 8 to 10 servings

1 (12oz) pkg. frozen dinner roll dough

1 cup chopped pecans

1 (5oz) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix

1 cup brown sugar

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

one-half cup of margarine or butter

Sprinkle nuts in the bottom of a greased bundt pan. Lay frozen roll dough on top of the nuts. Sprinkle dry pudding mix over the dough, then the brown sugar, then the cinnamon. Pour the melted margarine/butter over all. Lay a damp paper towel over the pan and place it in a cold oven overnight.

In the morning, remove paper towel and place pan in cold oven. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes, then flip out onto plate. Let the rolls cool awhile before serving.
