Drug task force makes raid home south of Hewitt
Agents from the Central Minnesota Drug and Gang Task Force and deputies from the Todd County Sheriff's Office arrested two people after a raid in Todd County.
The sheriff's office said Jason Burton, 36, and Cari Crooker, 31, were arrested for the possession of methamphetamine and marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of short-barreled shotgun, and possession of stolen property, specifically a four-wheeler.
The sheriff's office and drug agents were accompanied by the Wadena-Hubbart SWAT team at the residence, which is in section 26 of Stowe Prairie Township.
The Todd County Attorney's Office was preparing charges.
The Staples Police Department also assisted in the investigation.
