Driver hurt in rollover crash in North Germany Township
The Wadena County Sheriff's Office responded to a one-vehicle car crash at the intersection of County Road 23 and County Road 9 in North Germany Township at 6:59 a.m. on Saturday, April 25.
The driver, a 17-year-old female from Osage, stated she was traveling southbound on County Road 23 in a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero when she reached to change her CD, causing the car to swerve. The driver stated she overcorrected, went into the ditch, hit three boulders, spun and landed on the driver's side. The driver said once the car came to a stop, she was able to find her cell phone and call for help.
The driver was transported by ambulance to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena for minor injuries.
Wadena County Sheriff's Office was assisted on the scene by the Sebeka Fire and Rescue Squad.
