Dr. Bobbi Adams elected to TCHC Governing Board after 9 years

Bobbi Adams, MD, a family practice physician at Wadena Medical Center, was recently elected to the Tri-County Health Care Governing Board.

According to Joel Beiswenger, TCHC president and CEO, "Dr. Adams has been a valuable part of our medical staff for over nine years. We thank her for her continued dedication and warmly welcome her into her new role."

Adams was nominated by her fellow colleagues to be represented on the board.

Adams, born and raised in Perham, received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. She joined Wadena Medical Center in 2000, after completing her residency in family practice at McKennan and Sioux Valley Hospitals in Sioux Falls, S.D.

"It is an honor to become a member of the Governing Board. I look forward to my involvement during these challenging times in healthcare and bringing new ideas to the table," Adams said.

Adams enjoys practicing the full range of family medicine at Wadena Medical Center and Ottertail Area Medical Clinic through the TCHC system. She and her husband, Doug, make their home in Wadena with their three children, Brady, 11, Ashley, 8, and Brandon, 4.

Other TCHC governing board members include: Luther Nervig, Don Bottemiller, Jeanette Coleman, Kip Browne, Jolene Johannes, Dale Hendrickson, Dr. Tim Schmitt, Jon Johnson, Dr. Thomas VanBruggen, Dr. Aaron Larson, and Dave Quincer.
