DNR to discuss Big Sand Lake special regulations
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will hold a public meeting Sept. 28 to provide information about the existing 20- to 28-inch protected slot length limit walleye regulation and to solicit public comments on whether the regulation should be continued, modified or rescinded.
Big Sand Lake is located in Lake Emma Township of Hubbard County, about 5 miles northwest of Park Rapids.
The meeting will be at the Northwoods Bank Community Meeting Room, 1200 E. 1 St. in Park Rapids from 7-9 p.m.
