Dentist aims to 'Give Kids A Smile'
Wadena dentist Heidi Reuter will be taking part in the Minnesota Dental Association's Give Kids A Smile program Feb. 4.
Dr. Reuter, who has a clinic at 206 First Street Southwest, moved to Wadena last year. This will mark her sixth year with the "Give Kids A Smile" program.
Each February, around 3,000 dental volunteers provide free dental care to children from low-income families.
Parents should call 631-1487 for an appointment. Reuter will be seeing
patients from 3-18 years old. Fillings, cleanings, X-rays and exams will be performed.
Reuter previously participated in the program in the Twin Cities area where it is highly popular. According to the MDA, more than 6,000 children received dental services last year in clinics throughout the state valued at $1.7 million.
Joining MDA in the program for the ninth straight year will be HealthPartners and 3M ESPE Dental Products.
