Defensive Driving Initial Course set for March
A defensive driving class geared for anyone 55 and over who has never taken a Certified Defensive Driver Class is being offered in Wadena.
If you are 55 years plus, Minnesota law requires insurance companies to offer a 10 percent reduction for three years if you complete a certified defensive driving course taught by a certified instructor. You'll receive a certificate of completion to give to your insurance company. Classes are held March 20 and 21, from 5:30-9:30 p.m. in the WDC Elementary Cafeteria. The cost is $25, which covers materials. The instructor is Audrey Stearns. Pre-register for the initial course by calling Sandie Rentz at WDC Community Education at (218) 632-2396.
