We're creatures of habit and let's face it; it's easy for us to get stuck in a rut, especially this time of year. We wrote about this very topic in this popular blog post, Same Old Routine? Get Yourself Out of that Rut. In the article we offered a 6 Day All-Intensive Routine Breaking Program, and many women reported the fun ideas were just what they needed to break free from their boring and repetitive habits.

We decided to take things one step further last month with an entire Twitter-series of routine-breaking ideas! They were simple and creative and the perfect thing to make February a whole lot more fun! Just in case you missed it, we wanted to bring you a summary. This is one post you'll want to print, bookmark or pin on Pintrest so you can reference these ideas anytime you're feeling the need to change things up.

We think you'll agree that there's nothing complicated, expensive or overly scary about any of these initiatives...that means no excuses! Try just one and see for yourself how even the smallest change can inspired more adventure, joy and confidence in you!

Can a simple change of routine, change your life? Here are 28 ways to find out...

1.How long have your used the same scented soap in the bathroom. Switch it out and give your nose a surprise.

2.Do you drive the same route to work each day? Leave a little bit earlier tomorrow and take a different route.

3.How do you wake up in the morning? Just think of the wake-up call you would get with a fun and upbeat song! May we suggest the William Tell Overture? Try it out tomorrow and report back.

4.Are you getting tired of your workouts? Shake things up a bit by doing your exercise routine backwards.

5.Do you stay within the same 5 preset radio stations? Choose a different station today...you never know, it might turn into a new favorite.

6.Even our hair can get bored. Part your hair on the opposite side tomorrow and see how much happier your hair looks.

7.Have you gotten stuck in the "cotton brief underwear rut"? It's OK, it happens to the best of us. Switch out your normal undies for something more fun!

8.Do you use the same door to enter your home or work every day? Today's challenge is to use a different door.

9.How fun is this idea?! East dessert first! That would definitely mix things up.

10.A routine of prayer each night is awesome, but if you're saying the same prayers day after day they can lose their meaning. Choose a different prayer to say today and feel the difference.

11.Wrapping up your day with TV watching is a nice way to wind down. Tonight, switch the TV off and read a book instead. We've got some fun suggestions on our Pintrest board.

12.Have you been using the same beauty products and colors for too many years? Try out a new one and maybe you'll find a new favorite.

13.We know most people are pretty particular on their sleeping arrangements but tonight try sleeping on the other side of the bed. Scandalous!

14.In this day and age, written letters are a lost art. Today, instead of sending out an email, write and send a letter.

15.Are the menus at the supper table getting a little boring? Try a new recipe today! Pinterest would be an excellent place to search.

16.Get a little fancy tonight. Set the dinner table - all the way. Cloth napkis, candles...It's fun to go all out sometimes.

17.Change things up in the bedroom; buy yourself some new bedding! Even a simple change of sheets can make a fun difference.

18.People don't take enough vacation. Change up your routine in the near future by taking a vacation. Start planning now!

19.Do you stick within a certain few colors when it comes to your toes? Get a new, fun, and different shade of toenail polish!

21.Taste buds are always changing. Try revisiting a food that you didn't like as a child.

22.Perhaps your eyes need a change? Re-paint a room in your house (or even just one wall). That should excite your peepers!

23.Get creative in the bed, literally. Make love in a new and fun way. Oo, la, la!

24.Invite some spring indoors. Buy yourself a bouquet of flowers to display at work or home.

25.Change up the routine on your tongue. Head to the grocery store and pick out a fruit or vegetable that you've never eaten before.

26.Get creative with your hands and mind. Instead of sitting on the computer, set aside some time to paint, sew, glue, color, or whatever feels like fun.

27.Do something different for lunch today. Lay out a 7 course meal at work, head to a new café, or have an indoor picnic.

28.Change your first and last thought. When you wake up say, "Hello Day, it's great to meet you!" and before bed say, "Thank you for this wonderful day."
