Computer class teaches digital photo skills
If you have trouble using your digital pictures with a computer, or would like to learn about more of the fun things you can do with your pictures, a class may help.
This will be a hands-on computer class that does not require much computer experience. The class will involve making organized folders, putting pictures on the computer from a digital camera, saving the pictures to an external device (CD or flash drive), viewing pictures off a CD, and e-mailing pictures. After the basic organizing skills are learned, we will then move into more fun projects such as making a slideshow, making a homemade movie, making a calendar, making holiday greeting cards and making invitations.
The class will be held at West Central Telephone on July 31. There will be two time slots to choose from, either 9 a.m. to noon, or 1-4 p.m. There is a cost per person, and spots will be limited to six people per session due to the amount of computers available. Contact West Central Telephone at (218) 837-5151 to reserve your spot. Feel free to bring your own digital camera to the class so that you can use your own pictures.
