Colette Marie (Roggenkamp) Wynn

The funeral Mass for Colette Wynn, of Wadena, will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Wadena, with Father Aaron Kuhn as celebrant. Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.at the Johnson-Schuller Chapel in Wadena, with a Rosary at 5:00 and Parish Prayers at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Colette passed away at the age of 90, on Monday, July 22, 2012 at the Tri-County Hospital in Wadena.

Colette Marie Roggenkamp was born to Henry and Bernadine (Schmeising) Roggenkamp on January 27, 1923 in Bluffton, MN.

George and Colette Marie Roggenkamp were married on August 6, 1946 at St. John the Baptist Church in Bluffton. As a homemaker her days were filled in caring for her family. She kept her hands busy when quilting and visiting with her sisters. Colette enjoyed playing cards and winning at Bingo! She was a member of the ladies aid and Christian Mothers.

Colette was preceded in death by her husband George, Sr., on August 4, 2011, two days before their 65th wedding anniversary; her parents; two Trana grandsons; brothers Henry, Peter, Joseph, Alphonse and Tony Roggenkamp; sisters Regina, Rose, Flora, Leona and Dorothy; brothers-in-law Al “Chops” Schmitz, Earl Weller, Roman Mohs, and Joe Kluenenberg; and sister-in-law Sylvia Roggenkamp.

Colette is survived by her children Karen Pollock of Wadena, Mary Jane (Leo) Fiedler of Livingston, TX, Patricia (Donald) Trana of Rice, Sandra (Gene) Baumann of Brainerd, Gerald (Terry) of St. Paul, Dennis (Nancy) of Plymouth, Michael (Linda) of Murrieta, CA; George (Kim) and Jeffrey both of Fargo, ND; 17 grandchildren & 23 great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law Arlene Wynn and Margaret (Wynn) Roggenkamp both of Wadena.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren Jeff Pollock, Nick Prescott, Phil Trana, Ryan Wynn, Kelly Wynn, and Cory Wynn.

Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery in Bluffton.
