Christmas in Wadena
G.P. Anderson of Wadena is back for another season filled with dancing Christmas lights at his home at 414 Third Street SW in Wadena.
See the display from the comfort of your vehicle. When you arrive a block from the display, turn your FM radio channel to 88.1 and you can listen to the lights. The show is an hour long. It features Beat Sticks, a 25-foot Mega Tree with more than 10,000 lights, 14 falling snowflakes, nine dancing trees, 5-foot lighted Santa Claus, 4x20-foot animated Merry Christmas, four Leaping Light Arches, 16 mini Christmas trees, two Spot Light Towers, 8,700 Icicle Lights, 80 feet of Candy Cane Signs, a military display with American Flag, two large white snowflakes, Bethlehem Star, 4 Christmas Wreaths, 16 Shooting Stars, numerous strobe lights and the largest video wreath in the state. The wreath is 12 feet wide with a video screen in the middle with 27,000 lights around it. It sits 5 feet off the ground.
The free shows start at 5:30 p.m. and runs through 8 p.m. Monday thru Thursday, 5:30-10 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Additional information may be found on online at www.christmasinwadena.com or stop in nightly through Jan. 2.
