The city cemetery has 325 monuments that are tipped, separated or slightly off their foundations. There are 206 monuments in Calvary that need attention.

The process of restoring the two cemeteries is under way but is expected to take a lot of time, effort and patience to accomplish.

Two tablets, one from the Wadena Cemetery and the other from Calvary, are missing and are believed to be somewhere on the outskirts of Wadena. Both are two feet in length, two feet high and six inches wide.

Fergus Monument has had a crew on site but it is hoped that other monument companies will also donate their time.
