Dillon Card put the Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale Raiders back on the win trail Thursday as he spun a one-hitter in a 2-0 victory over Wadena-Deer Creek.

The Raiders pushed runs across in the fifth and seventh frames.

Will Kramer led off the fifth with a double and came around to score on a single by Mac Schluttner.

Schluttner led off the seventh with a base hit and went to second on a passed ball. Preston Riewer’s fly out sent Schluttner to third and Mitchell Blaha’s double to center scored the game’s final run.

Kramer and Schluttner combined for four of BHV’s eight hits off WDC’s Jake Dykhoff.
