Bound To Be Cool, a Motley paint horse, wins APHA World Championship

American Paint Horse, Bound To Be Cool, owned by Sandra Hanson, MD of Motley, captured a World Championship title at the 2011 American Paint Horse Association World Championship Paint Horse Show. The show held Nov. 2-12 in Fort Worth, Texas, is one of the APHA's premier events.

Bound To Be Cool, a 2009 gelding, was shown in the Tobiano 2-Year-Old Geldings class by Terry Sartain of Cullman, Alabama. In this class, horses are shown in-hand and judged on their physical qualities.

Open competitors may be youth, amateurs or professional trainers, and they can compete with their own horses or those owned by another individual.
