Bluffton, Verndale, Sebeka have Census participation over 50 percent
As of Thursday evening, Bluffton had 63 percent participation in the U.S. Census, Verndale had 58 percent of its residents return their Census forms, and Sebeka had 52 percent participation rate, three of the higher rates in the area.
Rice, Minn. is the leader in the state with 69 percent of residents returning the 10-year study.
Other Census participation rates included:
Wadena County: 42 percent
Wadena city: 40 percent
Minnesota: 37 percent
Staples: 36 percent
U.S. rate: 29 percent
