Beverly Darlene (Dailey) Neitzke was born in Wahpeton, ND on October 30, 1929 to Floyd and Aurilla (Patterson) Dailey. She was an only child.

She graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1947 and attended Moorhead State Teachers College. She earned her teaching certificate and began teaching in Detroit Lakes, MN. It was in Detroit Lakes that she met her husband, William J. Neitzke. They moved to Wadena, MN and purchased the Pine Cove Inn and the house next to the restaurant. Beverly taught second grade at St. Anne Catholic School. Bev worked hard as a full-time mother of six children. She and Bill operated the Pine Cove Inn restaurant for 25 years. She was involved in all of the children's activities: attending their band concerts, piano recitals, and cheering at all the football, hockey, wrestling, basketball, and volleyball events.

She was a kind, loving, caring person. She saw the good in all people and was there to root for the underdog. She was sensitive to people who were in need and was always eager to help. Bev loved music. She earned her living while in school playing her beloved silver saxophone in a band playing big band music.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Aurilla Dailey, and her husband William Neitzke.

She is survived by her six children: son, Paul and Deb (Weappa) Neitzke; son, Robert and Annie (Neveaux) Neitzke; daughter; Susan and Robert Westmark; daughter, Judy and Ron Sundby; son, Dave and Mary (Reeve) Neitzke; son, Mark and Katy (Davis) Neitzke; grandchildren: Aaron, Amanda, Tricia, Melissa, Lisa, Michelle, Hannah, Marissa and Tori Neitzke, Amy, David, and Jonathan Westmark, Sarah (Madsen) and Ryan Sundby; great-grandchildren: Kaija and Brock Madsen, Carson Sundby, and Wyatt Anderson.
