Behl, Phillips among Section 6A scoring leaders
Wadena-Deer Creek hockey players Mike Behl and Dylan Phillips entered the final week of January ranked third and eighth respectively among Section 6A's top scorers.
Behl went into the week with 15 goals and 17 assists for a total of 32 points.
Phillips had 12 goals and 14 assists for a total of 26 points.
Prairie Centre's Cody Steward and St. Cloud Cathedral's Will Hammer were tied for the Section 6A point leadership with 33 apiece. Steward had a section-best 19 goals to go along with 14 assists. Hammer had 17 goals and 16 assists.
Elementary wrestling tourney set Saturday
The Wadena-Deer Creek Youth Wrestling Tournament is set for Saturday at the WDC Middle/Senior High School.
Weigh-ins will be held from 7-9 a.m. with wrestling starting at 10 a.m.
A $10 registration fee will be charged for the four-man round robin event.

Wadena boxing card on tap at Armory
The Wadena Boxing Club will hold a 10-bout card Saturday beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Wadena Armory.
Boxers from St. Cloud, Willmar, Detroit Lakes, Minneapolis and Fargo will join the Wadena's fighters.
