Banged-up Pirates blanked at Underwood

The Pirates gained only 103 yards rushing and added just 53 more through the air. Kyle Booth caught two passes for 27 yards. Meidinger grabbed two passes for 26 yards.
The Rockets had the ball for 30 minutes and 59 seconds. The Pirates controlled the ball for only 17:01.

Verndale's only victory this season has been over winless Ashby. The Pirates have won the Section 4 title the past three years in a row.
