Annual Easter egg hunt set for Saturday at Toby’s Hill
Hundreds of Wadena children will head to Toby’s Hill at 1 p.m. Saturday for the annual Easter egg hunt.
Don’t be late, advised Shirley Uselman, director of the Wadena Chamber of Commerce, which is organizing the event. It doesn’t take long for children to locate the more than 13,000 plastic, candy-filled eggs.
This year’s hunt will feature a special guest.
“Come and meet the Easter bunny in person,” Uselman said. “He’ll be available for pictures.”
About 40 Wadena businesses have been filling eggs over the past few weeks.
Denise Bounds, manager at the Wadena Burger King, dropped more than 500 off at the chamber office last Thursday.
It’s a great tradition, Bounds said. “This is a huge hit.”
