4th Annual Mental Health Awareness Event set for May 3
The Minnesota Dept. of Human Resources in partnership with the Mental Health Consumer Survivor Network is spreading the message of recovery across the state. The presentation will include a history of where Minnesota has been with recovery or lack thereof, moves toward wellness, language that affects that movement and what people can do to make that transition happen.
The presentation will be on May 3 at Donovan Hall in the Wadena Pizza Ranch. Cost of the event is $35 for professionals and $20 for consumers and lunch is provided. Registration deadline is April 30 and advance registration is required.
On the day of the event, registration is from 8:30-9 a.m. and the conference is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Speakers at the event include Dr. Kevin Edwards, Bruce Uselman, Dennis O'Johnson, Dr. Aaron Larson, Dr. Don Starzinski, Jode Freyholtz-London and Mary Marana.
