3 arrested in area meth bust
Three people were arrested last week for possession of methamphetamine with an intent to distribute in the area, according to a press release from the Wadena County Sheriff's Office.
Agents of the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force made the Feb. 27 arrests, the release said, adding that one arrest was tied to Wadena County and the other two were with Morrison County. Agents recovered about half an ounce of meth, one handgun and other items related to the trafficking of meth, the release said.
Andrew Bradley Stockman was arrested in Wadena County and found to be in possession of meth and the handgun, and Bobbie Dawn Tyra and Tamara Jo Schmolke were arrested in Morrison County and found to be in possession of meth, the release said.
The task force was assisted in the investigation by the Morrison County Sheriff's Office, Todd County Sheriff's Office, Wadena County Sheriff's Office, Wadena Police Department, Little Falls Police Department and Randall Police Department, according to the release, which also said the matter has been forwarded to the Morrison County Attorney's Office and Wadena County Attorney's Office for prosecution.
