Memorial Auditorium goes Shakespeare

William Shakespeare's enchanting classic "A Midsummer Night's Dream" will be presented Friday and Saturday at Memorial Auditorium.

Performances will be held at 7 p.m. Friday and at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Prairie Fire Children's Theatre professionals Nicky Hilsen and Zakary Morton will co-direct the musical adaptation and will play the roles of Puck, the mischievous sprite, and Nick Bottom, the colorful head of the acting troupe.

Local cast members will include Adam Leverson (Lysander), Katie Anderson (Hermia), Michael Paulson (Demetrius), Britta Moen (Helena), Caleb Monson (Duke Theseus), Allison Monson (Hippolyta), Emma Polzin (Egeus), Michael Schmidt (Philostrate), Katie Schmidt (Noble Person), Isaac Berger (Oberon), Paige Hartman (Buck), Ryan Grendahl (Luck), Brandon Monson (Yuck-Yuck), Becca Gross, Josie Formanek and Hope Dumpprope (Groundlings), Macy Hartman (Quince), Mitchel Haman (Flute), Maddy Hinojos (Snug), Taylor Dirks (Snout), Hannah Tast (Starveling), Mari Grendahl, Sean Carlson, Maggie Carlson, Zoe Schmidt and Daryl Ann Webb (Performers), Tess Kirkland (Titania), Samantha Kirkland (Peaseblossom), Samantha Gross (Cobweb), Breeze Bestland (Moth), Katie Rokenbrodt (Mustardseed) and Kirstan Finn, Mikena Formanek, Nicole Miller and Esther Berger (Sprites).
